Even as I near the end of publishing daily for 365 days, I felt that the weekly digest was due for a refresh, much the same way Music Entrepreneur HQ was. And so, this is where we find ourselves.
This change was inspired by recent discoveries in my own life. I’ve often questioned my path, even as I’ve zig-zagged over it, but have finally come to a place in my life where I feel like I’m in the right place, at the right time, serving the right audience.
And the right audience, frankly, is whoever finds value in what I create. Yes, I’ve primarily served musicians and creatives over the years, but I know that I’ve positively impacted entrepreneurs, executives, coaches, and consultants too.
I’ve attempted to create different opportunities for different audiences over the years, but now seems as good a time as any to bring it all under one umbrella again.
A lot of this clicked for me as I was putting together the new testimonials module on Music Entrepreneur HQ:
I’ve helped a lot of people accomplish different things. Why would I hide this fact? Doesn’t it add to my reputation?
This is not the David Andrew Wiebe show, mind you. The reason I bring it up is because perhaps you’re due for a refresh as well.
Maybe your project queue has become a tangled mess and it’s time to lop off the bothersome, effort-intensive, low-reward ones that are sucking the very life force out of you.
I’m a big believer of this, by the way, and should you take the time to read a couple of my favorite books – The 4-Hour Workweek and Book Yourself Solid – you’ll note the same sentiments echoed within.
As I’ve discovered, you aren’t obligated to anything – only what you’ve obligated yourself to. Anything can be accomplished in communication, including your intention to quit, resign, give up, or lay off.
Make things simpler. Make the game winnable. In the short-term, it will require a high degree of thought and concentration (simplicity isn’t always easy). In the long run, you’ll save countless hours of anguish.
So, welcome to the revised and streamlined weekly digest.

Music Entrepreneur HQ on Social Media
Here’s a unique, value-adding piece we shared on social media this week:
Must-Have Resource
There’s a personal development program I’ve been through three times, and each time I go through it, I learn more about myself and what matters most to me. I’ve also been able to improve my health, grow my business, and challenge myself intellectually.
The name of the program is The Gold Within.
Any artist looking to get clear on the impact and difference they want to make in the world (their brand) should go through The Gold Within program at least once.
Final Thoughts
Thank you for your creativity and generosity. I’m rooting for you.
