I received the news a couple days ago that Brendan Hamilton has passed away. My condolences go out to friends and family members.
This is difficult because most of you watching probably know Brendan better than I ever did. I was lucky enough to host Brendan on a live stream in early December. I could be mistaken, but I think that is the final public interview he ever gave.
We got to talking a little bit before we went live and Brendan shared how he had a great appreciation for The Question Community. The Question Community was the brainchild of Frederick Tamagi. I was a tech host and occasional presenter.
When Brendan came across The Question, apparently he was going through a bit of a crisis of faith and he felt fortunate to have found a community that was open to anyone, particularly those exploring the nature of truth.
I received a voice message from Brendan on December 13th, shortly after he’d appeared on my live stream and it was a thank you message. And I think he would be comfortable with me sharing it with you. So here’s the audio message that he sent me:
Hey Andrew, thanks for that. And I’ve been meaning to send a message so this works out. I just wanted to say thank you so much for having me on the stream. It was an immense honor and I had so much fun. It was really, really great to connect with all three of you. I had a big smile on my face and I don’t know, I’d love to do more stuff like that. Just being able to connect with you guys. So maybe next time I’m out in Vancouver, you and I could get together. And until then, maybe look at joining the group and just staying connected that way. So blessings your way and talk soon.
