Product Index

Product Index

So, I’ve been thinking…

It’s probably about time I put together a new index for my products. It has been a while since I’ve taken inventory of everything I’ve got, and things have a way of changing over time. Old products are replaced by new products, some become obsolete, some fall by the wayside.

Likely, this post will be updated now and again, just like some of the others on this site.

Note: pricing noted here may not match up exactly with listings on sales or order pages. This is because I’m currently revising prices, there’s a promotion in effect, or I haven’t had the opportunity to update this post in a while.

The New Podcasts Page is Here

The New Podcasts Page is Here

Yesterday, I shared about the addition of The Question Podcast to my blog archives.

And today, I bring you the new podcasts page.

On the old podcast page, all you could do was subscribe to The New Music Industry Podcast and Thought Thursday. The new podcast page is a huge upgrade in that regard – you’ll be able to scan and access podcast content directly.

Now, this page should not be considered complete as of today, but I think you can see where I’m going with it.

On the left side, you’ll find links to the 100 most recent episodes of The New Music Industry Podcast, a show that’s been going strong since 2016. The last couple of weeks have been a little insane in terms of workload for me, so unfortunately, I haven’t gotten around to adding a new episode in a while, but I do have many in the can to be published.

Then, on the right side of the page, you’ll find links to some of the other podcasts I’ve been involved in. There are still more shows to add to the sidebar (and thus to the archives), but all in good time.

Some shows are ostensibly complete, like The Question Podcast. Some have been on hiatus, like Thought Thursday. And some I’m either involved in or just getting started with – The New Music Industry Podcast and the brand-new Adrenalize Def Leppard Fan Podcast (which is already gaining some traction out of the gate!).

I have no plans of adding the Adrenalize Def Leppard Fan Podcast to the blog archives, at least not for now, so you will be taken offsite should you choose to listen to it. To be fair, that’s the case for The New Music Industry Podcast as well.

There is still much to do for this page to reach its full potential, but we’re getting there, so stay tuned.

The New Music Industry Podcast Ep 268 – Uncover Your Core Message – with Tara Divina

The New Music Industry Podcast Ep 268 – Uncover Your Core Message – with Tara Divina

I had a fantastic conversation with creative biz coach Tara Divina just the other week.

I learned several key things from her, including:

  • When to take the leap to start building your team (as an entrepreneur, musician, or creative)
  • My core message – what I’m out to create in the world, and the message I want to broadcast to all of humanity
  • How to craft a simple but effective brand

Hey creator!

Oftentimes, the only person stopping you from becoming everything you can become is you.

Your greatness is already inside of you. You don’t need to go looking for it.

So, what is the greatest enemy to unlocking all that you already are? Why do you spend so much time spinning your wheels? The answer is eye opening.

What’s preventing you from embracing what’s already available to you is the familiar.

The familiar is comfortable. It’s expected. It’s highly dependable.

At the end of a long, hard day, there’s always a warm, comfortable, inviting bed called “familiar” waiting for you. You can return to it whenever it feels like you’re so far outside of your comfort zone you’re living in a horror film.

But it’s that tendency to avoid and escape the scary that holds us back from having everything we desire. Because we are already worthy of it.

Life demands expansion. And it will take us there rather naturally if we let it.

The problem is we resist change. The new is always more uncomfortable than the familiar.

Examine closely your daily routine. When is the last time you felt like you were doing something new?  When is the last time you felt the discomfort of the unfamiliar?

There is nothing wrong with anything unfamiliar. Only our thinking makes it so.

The familiar isn’t to be loathed. And although I used the term “enemy” earlier, the familiar doesn’t need to be made the enemy. That’s just another form of resistance, and whatever you resist persists.

But it would be wise to recognize the familiar. If you’re doing the same thing the same way expecting different results, you’re stuck in an insanity loop that’s preventing the fullness that you are from emerging.

Getting what you want will require that you step outside of the familiar. That’s where it lies. It does not exist in doing more of what you already know to do. How are you expanding today?
