From the Inside Out
I’ve been doing it all wrong.
Well, “wrong” is a relative term, not a fact.
But based on what I’ve been looking to accomplish, I’ve been going about it backwards.
I’ve been focusing too heavily on customer acquisition and marketing, on trying to please people that may never take any interest in me or what I do…
When I could have been focused on the people that have already expressed an interest in what I do, are on my email list, or have bought one of my products.
I guess this is what my coach really meant when he said:
Your existing customers are of far greater value to you than new customers.
Creation needs to happen from the inside out. Not from the outside in. That’s true customer service.
