Someone asked me this week: “Are you using AI to create summaries that you read on camera?”

And honestly, my first thought was: Do people actually do that? Like… you tell AI your life story, it generates a script, and then you just read it on camera?

I can’t even wrap my head around that.

Here’s the truth: There’s no script here. No teleprompter. No AI-generated monologue. I’ve been working on my public speaking and communication skills since 2007. I don’t need a script. I never have.

What you’re seeing in my latest videos is me talking, thinking out loud, and pausing between sentences because I’m figuring out what’s actually worth saying. Yeah, there are edits—because I’m human, because I’m processing, and because these videos are coming from a different place than anything I’ve done before. They’re more vulnerable. More from the heart. Less “here’s a logical framework” and more “here’s what I actually went through.”

So no—I’m not using AI to write my scripts. But I am using AI for other things, like turning my video transcripts into YouTube descriptions (which, real talk, I don’t even know if people read).

What I’m actually doing right now is something called Leadership Lab Bootcamp. The whole point? Build a personal brand. That’s it. No aggressive calls to action. No “buy my thing” at the end of every video. Just me, showing up, being honest, and talking to the version of me from two or three years ago who was going through all of this.

If these videos are resonating with you, it’s probably because you’re in a similar place—or you were—and you get it. That’s why I’m making them. Not because I have some master plan. Not because there’s a secret funnel behind the scenes. Just because I think it’s time to build something real.

In this post (and video), I pull back the curtain and share what’s really happening behind these videos—and why I’m doing things this way.
