I’ve mentioned before that I had a sizable back log of legacy content to publish… Guess what? There’s none left!

There may be a few other things I re-purpose, but essentially from here on out, it’s all new content! Yay!

Some of you may be aware of the fact that I schedule many of my posts out in advance. With the latest release of WordPress, some issues have cropped up with YouTube embeds.

For whatever reason, when the scheduled post gets published, the YouTube embed code gets erased, and the video will not display. Having done a Google search, I’m not the only one that has encountered this problem.

Due to time constraints, I can’t always come in and fix it, but best to my ability I will be working on this issue as I go.

Thank you to all our readers and viewers for another wonderful year! It has truly been an invigorating time for AS Movies & Games, having rebranded the site and worked out a new template for things to come. Here’s what to expect in 2013.

Legacy Content

In case you were unaware, we have been reworking and publishing content from the older days of Arctic Sunburn, before this site changed over to AS Movies & Games. This content will probably run out some time this year, but until then, we’re going to keep revising and posting it.

New Content

There have been little bits of new content published along the way, so you’ll have to keep your eyes open for that. As already mentioned, older content is going to run out at some point, and it will be all new content from there onward.

Special Content

We’re not going to deviate too far from movies or games obviously, but there will be some very interesting features showing up on the site this year. Stay tuned!

Merry Christmas 2012!It’s hard to believe another year is about to come to a close. 2012 has been a very important year for me. I started out feeling fatigued and unproductive and ultimately came out feeling energetic and fruitful as ever. I made some hard decisions (selling my house and streamlining my finances, giving up some “good” for the sake of “great”), but it has totally been worth it and I believe I am staring into an amazing future.

In 2012 we saw the release of games like:

  • Mass Effect 3
  • Max Payne 3
  • Kid Icarus: Uprising
  • Darksiders II
  • Sleeping Dogs
  • Guild Wars II

And many others. To be frank, I haven’t had the chance to play many games in 2012, but I did briefly explore games like Minecraft, Breath of Death VII and several games from the Google Play store like Boggle. Marble Saga, TowerDefense, Inotia 3, SushiChop and OceanTower.

We also saw the release of movies like:

  • The Dark Knight Rises
  • The Avengers
  • Jiro Dreams of Sushi (one of my favorites this year)
  • Blue Like Jazz (haven’t seen it yet, but I would like to)
  • Undefeated
  • The Cabin in the Woods
